  4. Sort of resemble turbo Trans Am wheels, but they have more fins around the perimeter.

How true! The only thing that looks like early wheels is early wheels - or reproductions of early wheels. Using modern wheels on a traditional car is the kiss of death.

No factory aluminum wheels on 60's Vettes after the 67 style Squirrel posted. 68 up thru some point in the first half of the 70s were either full wheel covers that looked sorta like the 67 wheels, or rally wheels.

I'm thinking the ones in the pic might have been used on some Buick Regals in the 80's, but that's just a guess.

  10. Whats the pattern size? They look like truck wheels to me.

  16. aren't these the Pontiac wheels that had that BIG black cap on them...?

  17. Check if they have any markings or part numbers on them and that should lead you to the right direction.

Ha,ha Yep, I thought of those too (Like on the knight rider car?) but nope, not those either.
4 3/4 is GM tho so if they arent aftermarket they would be GM

not T/a or Monza rims monza rim has 12 ribs , the T/a ghas a flatter cover , and its definately not the T/a Bowling ball rim, the manufactuers name should be cast on the back side or in the wheel recess area .

Pretty sure trans am wheels. Had some on a car I bought a few years ago. Gave them to a friend who used them on a car for his daughter. We were talking about them recently and couldnt identify what they came from. Walking around a swap meet and see a Pontiac parts guy with a couple. He said Trans Am.

If anyone gets street rodder mag, on one of the little pesky subscription cards there is a pic of a chopped red 3w .To ME these wheels look similar to the ones on the car. I know they are not the same wheel. They may be the Turbo T/A wheels now that i think about it! I've got a barely off topic P.U that i was thinking about having the wheels Powder coated as close to the Dow 7 look i can get and run them on that.
