Love Bobs car! I think he built that in the late 70's. That's a lot of years of people saying "when are you going to paint it?"!!! LoL!

That's funny Jimmy. And here I always thought it was already painted and that was the paint choice.

You're welcome clem and Duncan(arkiehotrods). Duncan - I am glad you parked it there - it was a decent spot.

That was his paint choice, but most people think it's just primer. Especially non "car people"!

Good to know - thanks Jimmy.
Anyone know the exact year of this pickup - I know it's between 47 and 53. Thanks in advance.

  10. Pretty sure Jimmy can answer that one Dan. He knows the owner. Great shot of a cool truck, by the way!

I hate trying to get pics at a show and people walk in front of the camera.

Incredible work Dan, I really enjoy your pics.

  14. Great shots!

  15. Yeah, @Tn. Trash, I try to watch out to not get in the way of photos, but sometimes I get a bit carried away and can't pass up a great photobomb opportunity. (check out the rear window of Drag Daddy's truck!)

I'm pretty sure he said it's a 51, but can't remember for absolute positivity. Very cool truck and nice guy that owns it!

Thanks a lot olscrounger and TFoch. Thanks for the info, Jimmy. I would have Bret in more of my shots if I could afford his modeling fees, which are pretty steep.:)

Took a break to attend and do a few pictures from the Poverty Flats Pie Festival and Car Show, but I am back on this now and there are lots of images to come.

Me too Bret - it was definitely in top 3 of cars I wished I could have.

Here is Lawrence Scanlan's wild creation.

  25. I finally gave Dan a decent background to shoot a cool photo of my '40 stake truck. Sure made the old truck look good! Thanks, Dan!

You're welcome, Bret. You did indeed park it in a great place. That wall is hard to beat.

You're quite welcome Larry - plenty more to come - real life sometimes gets in the way of getting pictures done.
