I will have to go with Finnrodder here i like the second version, wrap around window looks a little modern but im sure it will look killer any way you want to go :)

  2. I'd be interested in that top if Eric isn't.

@Eric H are you still planning on having a carson top too? or have you ditched it in favor of the Vicky top? If you are still planning on finishing the Carson top too, I would do the wrap around rear window on the Vicky roof. That way you have all styles to choose from

I'm partial to the wrap around rear glass as that I what my 53 Vick that was done by the Clarkaiser shop in Detroit had. But truthfully either way that you go is going to be BOSS. If you can do it with out having to cut the wrap around I would go that way myself.

I about DIED when @Royalshifter told me he was going to use a sedan window on Royal Victoria's rear window! "But you can't do that to a Vicky!" I told him. Man was I wrong!

I love the Victoria's wrap around rear window on an unchopped car, but once you start messing with the top it just looks out of place to my eye. Whatever you choose we know it'll be bitchin'.

Thanks Eric, I am going to get it properly mounted this week and get some glass back in the windshield so I can drive it again and ponder. I might try grabbing a 50 chev sedan window frame to see how it looks.

I personally think the sedan window looks wrong on a Vic roof. I'm a big fan of the style and the stainless trim which you can't use without that window. The car looks gorgeous though. Great work. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1432931516.026335.jpg

Thanks!! Your car is great!! Is your window glass?

  14. Another vote to go for the Vic wrap around window. As shown in the last photo there /\ where the B pillars go to a point, it would look great.

Thanks Eric. It's not glass. The back window is 1/4" lexan, same thickness as the original glass. I had considered trying to sink the glass but decided against it. It's single piece of lexan we bent cold with the window separaters drilled through. It's held up very well.

image.jpg image.jpg 5" stretch on the catwalk. I have an extra Victoria catwalk brace that I'm using to support the trunk hinges.

  17. I assume al this means it will no longer have a working convertible top, just the lift off Victoria top and eventually the carson style top? Looking good!!

Very very nice. Can I assume you're leaving the wrap around glass?

Is the top going to be removable or did you just turn a convertible into a hardtop Vicky

Fully removable top. It uses the stock windshield header pins and a vert header bow up front and will have some lever clamp type latches in the rear. A Carson style top will also be built in the future.
