Tom, Thanks for working in a shot of my vendor booth. HA! Great to talk to you and J this weekend. You are truly a man of many accomplishments. Not the least of which are these pics you're posting here. Another great effort! BO

Here's some more cruise shots. I usually hesitate to use photos that are not sharp, clear or cluttered and a lot of the cruise shots are just that; however, they do tell the storyby accurately representing the sheer variety of styles and methods used on the cars from the Northern (and Southern) California area. Not many cars from other parts of the country and that's OK, due to the health y enthusiasm for customs here.

I rode out with Jerry French in the candy and flaked '64 that I painted as a new car in 1964 when we were barely out of high school. Stored in his garage since '72, he recently went through all the mechanicals, put some new bias plies on the original '64 Astro Slots and is taking it to events. We joined the Kontinentals caravan of Brian, Lee and El Jefe from Austin, and followed them from Phoenix to the show. Juan joined us on the return to LA in his thirsty 427 Stingray (requiring an extra gas stop in Ventura).

What!? Pratts 55 cruising the streets of Ventura!? Where was I!? Would loved to have seen that. Luckily I was able to slide my wagon right next to Lees early Saturday morning in the Inn parking lot and get a few shots of my 2 favorite 55's side by side. Loving the pics Tom.

No, the Ford that was sitting next to that one... 'turquoise' probly wasn't the right term... has '59 Impala taillights melted into the bed, burnt edges... nice tuck n roll interior...
