So I've been shopping around for a power bead roller and a shrinker stretcher and I am trying to make a smart and informed purchase. The Mittler bead rollers look very similar to the Baileigh and Woodward units, except for the motors, the Baileigh and Woodward units look identical, including the motors, but one is advertised as 16 ga capable and the other 18 ga capable. Are they all the same main machine with different stands and/or motors? Or are they all different? I really feel like the Baileigh and Woodward are the same... Also, Baileigh and Woodward both have a heavy duty shrinker stretcher that look identical. Again, one advertises 16 ga, the other 18 ga... Thoughts? Opinions? Facts? Thanks!

Even if you only push the limits with 18 ga. the 16 ga. rating would be good.

HRP, I am keeping that in mind for sure.

John, I agree with you about it being nice to have the extra umph if needed. Still feel like they're the same machine though, but with different ratings for some reason.

I added links to the different machines...

I have a Baileigh shrinker/stretcher and it is very nice. Comparable to Lazze and JS tool for alot less money. Also have Mitler bros. bead roller with the industrial motor on it. Best bead roller i have used. More powerful than standard rollers and easy to control.

Mittler Bros Bead rollers all the way.
They are made in the US and their customer service is excellent - unlike one of the other mentioned parties above who i bought my deep shrinker stretcher through....
