Thank you...in the grand scheme of things I'm glad I didn't do flat black like I originally planned...I'm much happier with the semigloss gold

Yeah, the gold looks nice, like the wheel choice, too. What year, '64? K6

Yeah, flat black would have been a completely diffrent lesser truck.

I like the color choice. Love your "tires" landscaping.

Yes it's a '64 with a '61 grille. It still has the big ford pattern, it's dropped in the front with a 3" axle from Sid and 2 1/2" reverse eye springs...in the rear I dearched the springs myself and extended the shackles. I used hangers from a K5 blazer in the front of the rear spring mounted near the top of the frame. Doing the rear like that requires no C notching.

That landscaping is one of the reasons I'm divorced lol

I'm sick of flat black too but I really was trying to go cheap on this truck...that went out the window about a week into it.

Cool ride. I think that most of us can relate to your statement " I really was trying to go cheap on this truck...that went out the window about a week into it."

That looks great! It sits really good, especially still being a straight axle up front. Wheel/tire combo looks good, too!
