Nice I was going to suggest some kind of green as you don't see too many that color and the red / white combo just did not look good in my opinion. I had a nice 1952, 2 door post car I really liked driving.
Thanks guys , yea I hated the white / red combo . Gonna see if I can paint the firewall this week to get a real feel for it Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I'm trying my best to document this build. ... Here's what I got done tonight ... Oh and a pic of my favorite part Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Doing what I can with I got . I know it should trying to do this as a whole but it's hard to stay motivated when I don't see progress Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I think the next step should be to get your stock column cut down tapered for a lower bearing so you can figure out mounting it and fill that huge hole in the firewall. All you really need is to figure out the new length and get it mounted, we will figure out the engine compartment side of the steering as you go. Ask if you can bring it to work on friday and get it shortened.
By the way looking for parts if anybody has extras let me know please, thanks Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Can you help me photo shop it ? Wanna see what it'll look like chopped Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Sorry, I don't have photo shop. I lowered the car with the 'Paint' program. Someone on here can do it, though.
Just my 2 cents worth, but you just removed the coolest part of owning a 50's Buick. I love the ventiports.
I highly dislike port holes and the grills. The hole covers remind me of the screens people use In Their bath tubs and sinks . There are way better things on a buick than the he's , like the qtr panels the shape of hood , door fender shapes and wheel well opening Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Contact John Conley on Facebook . I believe he said that was him and his better half back in the day . I am sure he would have more pictures to share of his Buick . Check him out ! Later man !!!
Cleaned up and welded up seams where the frame was originally boxed. I'm cutting out the crappy x-frame and boxing up and making new cross members Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
