After a little trading I picked up another 54, this time a mainline 2 door. Running the 223 inline & 3 speed.started cleaning it up, added a few things to dress her as a driver. Plans are a t5 swap for better highway driving, aerostar springs in the front & blocks in the rear. I have some lakes in the garage along with skirts. I added the whites & caps yesterday. This is being built as a fun family cruiser. Eventually she'll get painted in the same color but in satin . Plans are to flake the roof & interior panels next week with a silver/aqua flake mix. I also picked up a 53 merc Monterey 4 door parts car. Will be using some of the trim from that & contemplating swapping the front bumper... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

So today the skirts from the merc & some lake pipes are finally going on the 54. Also doing a new valve cover gasket , some general maintenance & cleanup of the engine bay. I hope to have everything here in the next week or so to lower her down a few inches. Starting on the interior this Sunday...here comes the Angel hair! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

I recently bought this car and installed aerostar springs , lowering blocks in the rear , shaved the emblems , nosed and decked it and started frenching the headlights and taillights !!
This is a recent pic of it before I finished the trunk , want to get drop spindles and the rear springs dearched ! I got rid of the lake pipes and am changing the hubcaps to 57 Lincoln ! I bought the MoonEyes taillight kit for 52-54 fords and ditched the lenses that came with it and used 1950 Pontiac taillights with it ! I have a set of 52-53 ford headlight rings to use on it ! I also started narrowing the grill and I'm looking for and extra upper grill surround pieces and stainless trim to use on bottom of the grill surround !
I'm told you can use '55 Ford grille surround ends (the pieces on the front fenders) to fill in the ends of a '54 grille surround with a narrowed grille bar. Car looks good, I like the Lincoln caps.
