Needed a breather for my trip to the Roundup, so I snuck one of my wife's antique cake covers out to the garage:

This is going to be it for a while...I'm planning to begin stage two of the build in a couple of months or two.
Thanks to everyone for following the progress

Can't wait to see stage 2 of the build, whenever that happens! I love your car just the way it is and you've done a great job in little time, glad to see you enjoying it and driving the wheels off of it! Great job man.
I've got the same sort of plan with my 37, hoping to get it driving this summer and enjoy it while I build it, I'm getting kinda tired of the 2-3 year builds, wanna just enjoy one while I work on it!

Thanks Hooligan.. I'm having a lot of fun with this car.
Being a paint and body guy...it's been hard to show restraint but I'm really glad that I went this route on the 36.
One of these days I'll get it in color... but when that time comes I'm thinking I'll do it in stages so I can keep the car on the road instead of blowing it apart.

So now, will you finally accept the fact that you are miles and miles ahead of me at this point? ;)

Looks great! Glad to hear you made it down and back without any issues.

I knew I'd find you on here at some point. There's not to many 36 fords running around Amarillo. I followed you through woflin behind AC one night until you disappeared.

Pm here sometime. I'd love to come help out or just check out your car. A 36 is high on my list after I get my 30 coupe finished.

See you there. It's about an hour and half from my house.
