Technical 55 caddy distribtor interchange with 56 and later 365/390

Hey Caddy guys, need help to find out if a 56 and later 365 & 390 distributor will work in a 55 flat back 331. Already know the 49 to 54 long (extended bell) block distributors will not work on a 55 331 short or flat back engine.

Sorry, but I don't know enough about the distributors from 54 to 56.
