WOW - takes me back to summer of '59 or '60. Must be a Pa. thing. Buddy got grandpas ( about ) '50 Merc and we started driving loops behind the barn. Ended up with big circle of dirt and going faster and faster. Rolled once - pushed back over. Next roll knocked off front wheel/suspension - that ended the fun. That picnic table looks like it started with another use pulled behind the tractor - another Pa. thing.

Was much better than another car show... Getting to watch the cars get down and dirty was great. The best car of the day was this stock 30 Model A coupe that was just pulled out of a shed less than a month ago. My buddy removed the fenders and hood... Put some new gas and plugs in it and proceeded to beat the shit out of it all day. Both doors would fly open and it would shoot flames and backfire! It was so great. A true testament to the old Henry steel. image.jpg

Yep... My old 1938 Farmall and old trailer were a hit also. I have a bunch of pics I want to black and white. You would never even know what year it was in some of them.

You guys are so cool! Wish you where closer, I would get in so much trouble with the mrs.
But I would have the time of my life!

May I ask why they got rejected from TROG? They look perfect!

You are going all in on old school!

Your dirt track reminds of the saying in a movie ' IF YOU BUILD IT - THEY WILL COME ' and you did

Another one is ' Its about the most fun you can have with your pants on '

After seeing that Hemi powered maroon coupe, I can just see a 60's style Injected Chevy Sprinter going around there full tilt spraying dirt everywhere

    Neat stuff, G Don

Boy, that takes me back to the days when, I learned to drive in a '28 Ford Tudor, when I
was 12. I had a 6 acre field all to my self and it didn't take long to carve out a track around the
edge, that was 1952, what a summer!

    That is freakin awesome!

Now I really want to move out to PA! Get some property, a barn for the man cave, shop and make my own test track
