Absolutely the best weekend at a hot rod meet that I've ever had, BAR NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Been kicking myself in the ass for missing last years show. Absolutely can't wait for this years show. One of the best times you'll ever have at a hot rod show!

  9. Think I'll ride down there this year. I've got relatives living in Jonesville, so I can kill two birds. Are the t-shirts available online?

  10. Radford46, bring the whole Virginia contingent. It's a great time. I've not yet been to the Jalopy Showdown, but this event is on the same level...just drag racing as opposed to dirt track. If you make it down look me up, blue 5 window deuce.

  11. A shot of the trophies from last year...Geargoyles do it up right!

I'm planning on driving my Deuce over and plan to stay the weekend. Drove over for Saturday last year as a spectator and I agree it is by far the best show in the South...

  17. Seadog, I'll see if I can find you. Won't be in the truck, bringing the parents down too, to visit with relatives while me and my brother hit the races.

Ron/aka Bloody Knucles is true that you going to have film crew there? I heard the movie's name is Steel in Motion. Is there going to be a lot of hot girls in the movie? My sister does those type movies. I will let her know. She is working in hot Atlanta, Ga in a dance club. After the operation she is now all woman. I hope you are up for the job.

    CAMPERS...... PLEASE READ
Anyone camping, whether it be tent, pop up, travel trailer or RV will be camping on the show side of the track in a designated area. It will cost $20 for the camping rig and driver, then $10 for each additional person. If you have someone camping with you that is driving a separate vehicle(non show vehicle), that vehicle will not be permitted on the show side. It must be parked on the opposite side of the track in the general spectator parking.

Hey guys, just wanted to add one thing to what Curtis posted, as the topic has already been raised on the show FB page. Please pack your camping gear accordingly. If you have friends in non-show vehicles bringing your camping gear, they will still have to park on the spectator side. These vehicles will not be allowed on the show side, even to drop off gear. We tried to allow this in the past, with the promise the people would return their vehicle to spectator parking asap, but too many just flat out tried to not obey.

I'll be there wearing the same smile I had on last year!

This is the absolute BEST show on the east coast.
No one should be on the fence about attending this show. If you have plans, break them, it's that good!

  24. All I got do is survive and get past the annual Mothers Day debacle at Brenda's flower shop and we will BOTH be there this year, looking forward to seeing all you guys. HRP

Toucan, if you don't want to pay $10 to park your camper on the show side, then park it in spectator. If you are tent camping, and park in spectator and carry your gear over then there is no additional charge.

The camping fee applies to spectators only.

Car show participants, swap meet and vendors already have camping included in their fees.
