Event Coverage Murrieta Hill Climb

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by johnneilson, Aug 13, 2014.

  1. Here we go again, Nov 2nd 2014.
    Beautiful outskirts of Murrieta California.
Open to all pre-1935 4 cylinder Fords A,B or T.

For those of us who missed Bonneville this year, this may be the only event of the season.

Hope to see all of you there, even if you don't have a 4 Banger car, come on out, where else can you go watch Old cars and drivers for only $2??

One last thought, never race an older gentleman who has only one car, he probably knows how to drive it.

Hey guys, The So Cal F.A.S.T. group is hosting their annual hill climb in Murrieta this weekend, Sunday November 1st 2015. Come run your pre-35 Ford four bangers, the link to the rules and classes is shown above. Great times racing or as a spectator, room to park your cars if you bring them out. hillclimb2015.jpg

27 grey roadster had stock A with Downdraft, and three drivers taking turns doing passes up the hill. I think they were in the low 13's
Wild Cherry II, Model T block with 1960's Joe Gemsa overhead, this produced so much power they broke the torque conveter, replaced it, and I think broke another one.

Jim B was our announcer, he gave detailed information on all the cars running, and he helped build many of the engines that were running at one time or another.
