This is a real inspiration for those of us with a European Deuce Fordor lying around ;-)

I have disc brakes on the front axle, powerful but very ugly, so I take 34" backing plates, two aluminum scoop home made, a few cuts, welds and here is the result

Oh my word....I don't know how I managed to miss this but I sure am glad I found it! Brother this car is absolutely amazing! The stance is perfect, the color couldn't be better, it started with a '32 body, and quite frankly your sand casting makes me jealous! I love this thing! You do amazing work my friend! You have a pm!

I've been following this thread since the beginning. As others have said, your work is excellent!

Also, glad to see that you added the narrow trim rings to the wheels. They add to the 'period' look.

What type of material did you use to fill the grille shell? I was wondering what you had in mind - and the black mesh is perfect!

  25. Wow, this came out great.
A roof chop would have certainly added to the look, but its damn awesome regardless.

Great build! I really like the look, reminds me of the Ruxton. Is that real Ostrich you used to upholster it? Now you've motivated me to work on my '29 Steelback project. Bob

Gosh, Am I the only one that remembers Tom McMillan's chopped and sectioned 4 door, UN-finished and probably laying somewhere as scrap? Very similar..
