Found this at the swap meet over the weekend. If it is a late Zimmer, sorry for being off topic. But it looks old. The only thing I have been able to find on the old interweb are the new kit or "specialty" conversions and the F. E. Zimmer Company. Anyone know what this thing is?

looks like something off a camper or trailer, my uncle had a small Zipper camper

  5. Its a hubcap that says Zimmer on it. I have seen them but could never figure why anyone would want one ( no offense to the op intended). But that is what a zimmer hubcap is.

Thanks to all who replied. Even if it wasn't helpful, it was good for a laugh. Rusty set me on the right path. Looks like a 1949 (maybe other years as well) Zimmer Travel-Trailer. Found a repainted one on a Zimmer site. Tip o' the hat to you Rusty!

Now all you need is one for the other side and a early 50's Zimmer RV to put them on.
