I went last year and registered there at the gate. That's my plan this year, too. Best little car show in South Texas.

 

2 pages of praise over a car show that's in its 3rd year, this should tell people something. Sam and his friends do a great job! Absolutely love the show. The location of the show has that small town square feel that takes you back about 40 years. If you want a break from the outdoors you can take in some great music indoors. I enjoy the show very much and am looking forward to this upcoming Saturday!!! If you haven't been I highly recommend the drive. Here is hoping you many more years of success with your show. Kudos LSD guys and gals!

Breakfast at Kelley's sound great. Address, 1100 N Hwy 35 just north of 517 which is just north of Hwy 6 in Alvin. How's 8:00 sound. Bob & I will be there.

 

@SMH The show is located at 413 North 6th Stret in Texas City, TX literally on the street (I rent two city blocks) there is no preregistration for the event, all you have to do is show up and sign in, pay the $20 entry fee that has two free wristbands for the inside portion of the show included and come enjoy! This year I have 7 bands, over 25 vendors, a pinup contest, a kids dress up contest and a crawfish festival along with our car show. Yep, plan to trek up from Rockport unless Hwy 35 washes out somewhere!

 

Sign up at the gate, $20 per car includes two wrist bands to get into see the bands. Starts at 9am. Additional wrist bands $5. Pre 72 only.

 

Koozies are currently being broken in as we burn the midnight oil getting ready!

Just like to thank Sam and the Lone Star Deluxe crew for such a great show. For the first time I made a show in my car on its maiden trip. Have some bugs to iron out but everyone was helpful. Big thanks to Donny and another guy in an Impala for getting us out the middle of the junction when I broke down.

 

Had a great time yesterday bs'n with people I had not seen a while. The show of support for Sam and this show were evident by the amount of vehicles showing up through the morning and early afternoon intermittent rain. Terry and I arrived at 9:30 and when we left around 2'oclock their were still cars showing up to enter the show. Will definitely attend next year and hopefully not as a spectator. Anybody out there with pics?

 

Great show, and a very gracious host. Attendance seem to be twice what it was last year, and with good reason. Looking forward to next time. Don't miss it!

 

First and foremost I want to thank all of the HAMB members who fought the weather and came to support my team and I's efforts. I know that there are plenty of car shows around the area and I'm truly humbled by you all choosing to come to mine.

Secondly, holy crap it was AWESOME!!!! We had a total of 101 registered cars throughout the day even when it was raining like hell they were coming in. I'm still sorting through pics but here are a few, congrats to @srs1 for taking home the "Best of Show" trophy..... It was well deserved!

I hope to see more HAMB'rs next year.

Thank you, Sam, for running yourself ragged and putting on this great event. The atmosphere is pure bliss for us attendee's. You and your crew do an incredible job.
