I hear it is the coolest show in the midwest this time of year. Family friendly, VERY inexpensive, awesome entertainment, and all to help out families of children with heart problems instead of lining a corporation or individual's pocket. Why wouldn't you go and be a part of the Hot Rod family? Count me in.

justabeater - yes - we only charge $10 a day to get in to our event......take a look around and you will see that the amount of entertainment that we offer is WAY more than we charge. I have been to swap meets that took 6 minutes to walk through and they charge $8 to get in. There are other shows out there charging $84 to get in to see the bands + $12 a day to park. Their hotels cost $175 a night and there is no mention of food and beer costs. I can guarantee free parking (with preferred parking for $5 if you choose to pay for the closer parking), lower food and beer costs than any show out there. Hope you will join us - all gate proceeds go to help families with children diagnosed with congenital heart defects. Seeya there. May 1-2 Rain or Shine.

For those that don't know - we have an art auction every year. This year the theme is Polynesian or tiki. You can see Gator killed it on his art piece! Thanks for all that help us out. The gate proceeds are dedicated to paying for the show and then we give away the remaining $$$ to our adopted family. The art auction helps our family pay for medical bills incurred from our daughters open heart surgeries. We are still paying on last summers surgery..... So we thank all those that bid and all those that contribute.

There is free trailer parking at the Iowa National Guard which is on the same road and about a mile from the fairgrounds.

And don't forget to bring your sheet metal to th show to have louvers punched in them. Gentry's Kustoms and Restoration will be at the show with their louver press punching louvers for $1.50 per hole. Gentry's will also have per-punched aluminum panes for sale as souvenirs. ALL money raised from the louvered panels and on-site punching are donated to Helping Hannah's Heart.

As long as it is metal we can. You may be limited on where they can go and how many can be punched depending on the contour of the body.

John - I have 2 historic Midwest customs lined up to bring, but you haven't answered any of my questions. I'm trying to coordinate with the owner/builder but I need details. Running out of time.
