THIS ONE HOOKED ME WHEN I WAS A YOUTH. bakanford.jpg

  12. For me it is close on the past deuces, the Doan Spencer roadster and Old Dad's ( Gray Baskervile) roadster. Funny I am not a roadster man, but these as well as my dad's roadster ( never a famous car) always pop into my head when I think deuce.

present, I can't remember his HAMB name and that bugs me but there is a HAMBer from Omaha that has a deuce coupe that is rough as a cob and it is by far one of my favorite cars today period. I even like it better than any car that I have owned in probably the last 10 or 15 years.

Sorry no pics of any of the above mentioned cars.

Hard to argue with anything Doanne Spencer did but, one of the cars of the past that always stuck in my mind was the Mcgee roadster.
Something that many people may never have noticed on this car is the trunk lid, notice how it has been made to continue down close to the gas tank .
With so many cars built over the years, it is becoming very hard to be original but I wanted to do this from the start on my car. I even tried to get Dee Wescott to do it when my body was being put together but they did not seem too excited about it.
Always wanted a louvered trunk lid anyway, may have to have an extended and louvered lid photoshopped on my car to see how it looks.
