    To all 4 Banger experts.

    Opened up the engine yesterday.
Lots of oil in the cylinders...?
(Number 2 ran with a fouled plug before i opened it.)

Poured MMO (thinner than oil) in the cylinders...next morning it was still there, nothing dripped out the bottom.
I'm hoping it'll free up the rings...

    QUESTION:
Do you guys think it the Piston Oil Rings or Valve Stem Seals?

Got the engine back together just before the Pacific Kulture Fest...
The Oil pan plug was toast so I had to weld in a new one.
(I was going to paint the whole engine with that green...Would have looked like a giant bubble gum)

The engine ran great on Saturday...except I didn't flip the timing pin back and secured before the test drive. Gone & Oil spraying out ...

Sunday time to go...before i made it over the mountains the engine started to run on one or two cylinders...smoke coming out of the filler neck...
Didn't bring any tools (STUPID). got some cheapo tools from O-riley's
Got the plugs out (ran on 2). got the timing adjusted without the timing pin...started to run better...went for it!...

    Hi Ed

Tx, I wish I had More Time for the jaloppy's...

    Swap Meet:
The Swap Meet is twice a year up at Aiea High School.
And it's only Car / Motorcycle parts.

I'll post note here on HAMB next time around.

Haven't driven the Sedan for a while...

    Why
    1. Rainy Season in Hawaii
    2. New Safety Check Law in Hawaii...(Jan 2014)
Safety Guy have to take pictures of the vehicle...plus check a bunch of stuff
So now there's evidence what the car looks like when checked.
To pass as an original 1930 Ford it has to have fenders, all glass, hoods etc.
Or "If it cam from the factory with Fenders, You Gotta have Fenders"
"If it didn't have seat belts from the factory, No Need Seat Belts"
I don't have / like fenders so I have to Street Rod Register it.

    Street Rod Registration:
That means it has to have hydraulic breaks, seat belts, safety glass,
DOT marked headlights, blinkers, break light, horn, windshield wiper...
Other than that you can do pretty much anything to it.

    And now I GOT TERMITES!

Finally found me some steel fenders, brackets & aprons for the Sedan.
They need some TLC but overall in good shape!
Now I can get a Safety Check as an original...no need street rod registration... yet!

Stopped by the Friday Night Burger King Meet...looks like the right stuff!

Nice! Looks like you're having a great time with your Tudor.

It was interesting to read the Hawaiian DMV rules for our old cars, as my Wife and I want to move to Hawaii in a few years, I'll need to start planning ahead.
