Hot Rods what is this glass?

My family has owned a small gas station since 1955 and ever since my dad started working there in 1973 this glass had sat up on the shelf, even survived a couple earth quakes. my grandpa can't remember what it's from but he swears is the original glass. Can anybody help me out?

 

Wash it and down in one corner will be a manufacturers number or logo. It kind of looks like a rear glass upside down.

 

kinda looks like 1961-62 GM windshield. but it's hard to be sure.
