Up for sale is my 1960 AMC Rambler American station wagon. This is a rust free California car that was restored several years ago by a Father - Son team. I purchased the car and performed some personal modifications to make it the stunning vehicle that it is today. The car has the OHV 196 AMC engine and the 3 speed Flash-O-Matic transmission. It runs and drives excellent, ready to be driven to its new home. The car has been lowered 2" front and back, a killer stereo installed in it, and lots of chrome bling added under the hood. It sports dual carburetors on a specially built manifold and a glasspac muffler on a completely new exhaust system. The REAL feature is the low wheel well openings (circa 1953) that add to the mystic of the car. The Flying Lady hood ornament by sculptor George Perry is a real crowd pleaser, and was a factor in winning the "Best of Show" trophy in a recent event of over 100 cars. Check out the June 2014 edition of "Drive" magazine and see two pictures of the car at the Hilco Super Cruise. I am asking $18,000 for the car. I can be reached at (714) 963-6509 or email [email protected].

Correction, the Rambler has not been sold. Engine noise caused the buyer to back out. That engine has been replaced with a freshly rebuilt one and runs great. So, the car is for sale to anyone desiring a real attention getting car.
