  4. Well I don't always like what I see ( I'm a little jaded) but it never keeps me from being interested. I look at a lot of things and can nearly always find something good in what is posted.

That said, so far it is not a cartoon truck so I may even like it when its done. ;)

  6. LOL you just reminded me of some toy trucks I had when I was little they were log trucks made from wood and none of them had fenders. :D :D

I think that some of us are less interested in the tradition of it and more in the build of it. Some fenderless round cabbed trucks look good and some don't. So far this one is not all mucked up, it could change at any moment though. You haven't considered a rooster comb for the roof yet have you. :D

The build is looking pretty good, it may want a piston rod for a column drop judging by the pics but that's no hill for a stepper. ;)

    Pedal placement will be interesting.

  8. Well the photo may be a little deceptive but we are in Missouri and we know that the loud peddle can go up on the hump no problem. :D

Nice build and I also wonder how you going to deal with throttle pedal. Open fender looks good with that straight axle.

You do some nice work, I like most of your ideas, but not the 32 grill!

I don't mind a fenderless truck, but it's how you do the truck that triggers me.

And I think 35 or 36 truck grill and a full hood would be cool. Maybe only the top and open sides.
But running big nearly fenderwell headers and no hood will make it not my thing.

    But you truck, you call.

But I like when a truck can function as a truck, and at least earn it's keep, so don't chop to much, don't bob tail to much and don't forget if you enjoy driving it you don't need a excuse to keep it.
But if it only looks good in front of a retro burger bar, why do the work.

    But you got my attention.

I like your truck, but hate the disk brakes, it ruins it.

Not sure if this where I should ask my question or not. I want to build a 35 Dodge open wheeled truck. What do you guys have for a clearance between the bed and inside edge of your tires

Cool truck......the 32 grill is fine. For sure it looks better than 50% of the homemade ones. A lot of homemade ones that look like the builder was too cheap to buy a nice factory grill, and didn't have the creative talent to fabricate a nice looking one.
