The black '56 in your pictures is very nice. If your son keeps growing, no way he's ever going to fit in a T bucket!

 

Your son is one lucky dude. Imagine back to your old days and know BEFORE you are even in high school that there is a VETTE waiting for you to drive it around.

Well we had a big weekend so far.
My son and I took off yesterday morning and went to the NRA national convention in Nashville.
Later that evening there was a free concert on lower Broadway it was Colt Ford and Hank Williams Jr. there was also another performer before them her last name was Sweeny I can't remember her 1st name but she was very good.
Today we went to Coker tire for their Cruise in.

The only bad part was we came home to get the wagon and while it was running the heater core gave up the ghost

We still went to Coker's so expect some pics soon.

Hey we got out in the garage and tinkered a little bit after supper got the Master Cylinder installed. We also did a little cleaning on the interior and tested some stuff to see if it worked.
Wipers work
All Headlights and Taillights work
Headlight motors don't move the headlights.

 

Great thread, awesome vette man. That was the holy grail for the guys who gave me my love of cars. A close friend of the family had a 57 since I was a toddler. Sadly, he never got to put it on the road, but I remember looking at it when we visited the body shop. Sitting quietly, patients waiting. I never saw it move, but I loved the damn thing.

I really admire your involvement of your kids. I try to make hobby about more than myself. I feel selfish if my family ins't having fun too. We have a boy due in August and I have already began collecting scraps to put together a pedal car gasser to get him around the shows in. I can't wait.

 

Well I ordered the flexible braided brake lines and silicone brake fluid this morning.
time to knock a big dent in the TO DO list this weekend.

 

I love my kids very much and I am very fortunate to have been blessed with a great family.
