If you have not heard yet the rumblings are True, the 5th Ever, "LEGENDS" Nostalgic Drags which has been previously held at the Lone Star Motorsports Park drag strip in Sealy, Texas is moving this years event to Little River Dragway in Holland, TX (Temple). Due to "Circumstances Beyond Our Control" the "LEGENDS" Event that was scheduled for this weekend was cancelled by Hennessey Performance with no option to reschedule. As everyone is probably aware the Day of the Drags has held its annual event at Little River in October, but this year has opted to move it to July 31 - Aug. 1 which has opened up Friday/ Saturday, October 9 -10 for our event. The "LEGENDS" event will mirror the Day of the Drags with a couple of exceptions which are, Friday night Test & Tune will be open to Any and All with no restrictions. The Jack Pot racing will have two categories for cars with electronics and those without. Saturday will be open to 1973 and older ONLY with NO electronics. We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to move our Nostalgic Drag racing event to one of the most Historic drag strips in the country. For complete details go to; Facebook-Legends Nostalgic Racing for detail and future updates. We look forward to seeing everyone in October for what should be a "Blast from the Past"

Thought everyone would be thrilled that the "LEGENDS" Event has filled the October 9 -10 date at Little River?

That would be worth a road trip to Texas for.

  8. Chet,
The October date at Little River should prove to be the best time and place for the event....We are going to have multiple serious Flathead Race cars show up for a grudge match....bringing out extra NITRO so I can make sure that Texas is well represented....ummmm, NITRO
