  7. Big Thanks right back at you & everyone else here for the support & feedback, been a pleasure to share !
Correct, reunion photos will be happening hopefully in a month or so - Once the weather warms up (it was about 2' C yesterday when I got that video... enough of this winter already) & I'm able to make many sucessfull "tours" close to the shop (& rope tow :) ), then I will drive to town for final exhaust install & finally visits to certain people for photos & rides !! Not to mention I will have nice warm sunny weather to do some good photos, something I havent seen since I started working on this car :)
Small punch list remains (do we ever clear that list ? ha ha) but as video shows, all the basics are there !
Even though I only had time for a couple hot laps, wow does that little flathead propel the car down the road nicely !

Couldn't help but laugh along with you while watching that video.

Minus the wood panels, I'm copying Snoopy's dash style for Weezy. Snoopy's influence is far and wide. Glad you shared her with us.

  9. Apparently my laugh sounds sinister, it really is just pure jubilation ! So happy that Snoopy is sharing his influence on your car !

    Wow !

    nice work.

Ive seen one for sale that is kinda like that, hasn't been on the road since 1972 when the current owners father bought it.

If it wasnt 1800 miles away Id be more interested in it.

  26. Hmmm I wonder what shipping would be to northern michigan ( if seller would consider..)... having a spare wouldnt be a bad thing, although I hope its a long time before I have to perform that sadistic job of R&R'ing the transmission.

Having a spare on hand pretty much guarantees that you'll never need to replace it.

  29. Been a couple weeks, that thing called "life" has been happening to me as it does to everyone :) But this evening I got to the shop before dark & fired Snewp's up for a nice little "dusk run" around the block, then took some pic's as there is NO Snow !! & thought I would share... hoping to make some longer runs tomorrow...
