I've only been to a show at Pleasenton, once; when my Daughter still lived in SF and I was out for a visit, I still have fond memories of it being one of the nicest place I've ever been for car related activities --- especially with the trees and grass. Your coverage is very good. I just wish you hadn't shown the cars for sale and the prices. And, the phone numbers. It's tempting to think of the ones I like can actually be had. Is that super nice the blue AV8 Bill Burnham's old roadster? I also have fond memories of his wry style and commentary on everything imaginable, and still laugh at the essay of his on the little man with the big hammer at the end of the foundry line who checked Flathead castings for cracks; and if they were none, going at it with the hammer. Funny still. Nice cars there. Nice four door Forty. I have a thing, at the moment, for them. Keep up the good work. I know it is work.

 

Man I wish we had areas like that out this way for shows...Out here thay always seem to find big parking lots with no trees or places to sit and rest and watch the women, er, cars go by.
Thanks for the great photos, JJ, esp. the corresponding for sale info (no problem with that here, I can't buy any of them...makes it easier to look). There were some nice '57-58's in that group.

Yeah, thanks for posting, I enjoy the for sale/price/contact info pics. And LOVE that part of Cali (well, I love all parts of Cali, but that's my favorite).
