Looking online for a disc brake conversion for my 50, can not seem to find anything some include the master cylinder some don't some have power some don't, any ideas, companies?
There are several companies that provide the kit you want. Pick up a copy of Street Rodder magazine and look through the adds. I copied a kit produced by CPP. Uses Aeroster rotors and Camaro calipers. I made my own brackets and bearing spacers. Used G M booster and master from late 60's. Make sure that you get a booster/master that came from a vehicle with disc/drum brakes. Also used the G M proportioning valve from the same vehicle . Brakes are a great improvement over stock. Work like a new car. In my opinion, defenately worth the time and cost
Yep! Call Shoebox Central in Oklahoma City. Chris and Holly have it all. Helped us get our 49 back on the road...
Yes after searching all over the net, found these guys in OKC, going to drive up tomorrow just an hour and a half away, cheaper to drive than to ship, thanks
