Selling the '49 Merc! It's a 4 door sitting on a late '70's Cadillac chassis. Not sure of the exact year as the work was done by a previous owner. Running gear is all Chevy. A strong running and reliable 350 backed by a Turbo 350 trans. Paint is Hot Rod Flatz, flat black with metalflake green flames. The '49 Merc dash is also sprayed in metalflake green. All glass is good. Interior is sparse. It just has seats. I have the door panels but they will need to be modified to fit the openers the P.O. installed. This car has its good points and bad and I'll lay it all out. Like I said, it has a good strong 350 and she starts up easy every time. Doors open and shut nicely, as do all the windows. Very little rust. It has '50 pontiac tail lights with led lights so they're nice and bright. The body is super straight. No dings, dents, or waves. I mean super straight!!! The interior could use some finishing. I kinda like em hardcore so I never did anything about it. There's one thing that needs attention. The painter (who usually does phenomenal work) cut through part the hood flames with a razor. The edge is starting to lift.
