Awesome work as usual cornfield, would love to mount a camera on your shoulder as you work to see how you fabricate some of these pieces, i think you would get a lot of followers on you tube if you did some filming of your builds mate, keep up the great work. Lee

then got one side half way done. made up some plates that will go on the back side to clamp the screen to the backing plate.

this week i am building a custom tube frame for a super low 1930 ford pick up. designed the front rails in CAD and cut them out on the CNC plasma table. material is 3/16 as well as the tubing.

all welded up and smoothed out

cut, and beveled the tubing. nice tight gaps make life easy

the rails all laid out, ready to be turned into a frame

didnt get any pics until later in the day. but here is all tacked up, and some welding done. front end mocked up. made some bolt in wishbone mounts, have 7* tapered bung welded to the inside of the bracket.

    got the steering mocked up

motor mounted, and making some cool little mounts

made a little more progress on the chassis over the last couple days. been busy with other small projects that too away a lot of time from this one.

made the center K member / trans mount

and modified some F1 shock mounts to work on the front. machined some threaded bungs, welded them into the frame, counter sunk the bolt holes and used some countersunk allen head bolts

This work is so good it makes me want to burst into song, or maybe poetry. One could write an epic opera about the welding alone.
Seriously, this is outstanding build quality and imagination, my man. I doff my cap!

Your work is a great inspiration to other young people who have an interest in design and metal fabrication. You have more than a knack for it,you have a gift. Thanks for sharing with your photos and up dates on your projects.

been super busy finishing up some small projects around the shop. now that they are out of the way, i can get back on the truck chassis. started making the ladder bars. using old wishbones for the tubes. i a, really liking the way they are coming out. still need to sand blast them and some more filing. but you get the idea
