got the tunnelram and carbs mocked up. I got lucky and everything fits under the stock hood with a couple inches to spare.

Its just a little 357 sbf for now. I was just using the world heads for mock up, i have a set of aluminum ones going on to try to keep as much weight off as possible.

I have been getting alot of stuff knocked out on the car. Im hoping to have the body work done and the car painted by the end of next week at the very latest. Have the engine tore down right now getting balanced with the dome pistons. I finally settled on the color sunlit gold, a period ford color that i have always liked. The roof will be done in black. Hopefully soon i will have time to get everyone up to date with the pictures from all of the progress. Thanks for checking out my build! It's nice to hear all of the positive comments, it keeps me going on these late nights

had to cut out the bottom of both front fenders and make patches to fix some rust issues. I also welded up all of the seemingly endless holes someone had drilled in the fenders over the years afterwards

Cool build. I will have to show this to my boy. He is 12 and wants his first car to be a falcon wagon gasser that he can drive on the street.

That's cool! I've wanted a racecar since I was about 8 years old and went to my first big race watching quain in the grand illusion berretta in steele Alabama. Nineteen years later its finally becoming a reality!

That's funny his first race was last yr at the meltdowns. He painted his mini bike the closest rustoleum he could get to the Moonlighter. It was close to matching a Red scout.

I love the moonlighter, anything ford powered is good, and anything FE powered is better

Got everything off and ready to paint you can also see my hood pins on the rockers for my flip front. Also you can see where we bent/extended the pitman arm to get my steering ratio correct and for the steering to clear the oil pan. Excuse the messy shop for the next few pics, as it got terribly dirty and messy while doing the chassis painting. Try not to be too envious of my jack stands as well ;)

Lol, had to work with what I had! This thing is beginning to kick my butt. At least I'm on the home stretch now, plan on having it painted within the week. Motor should be done by then as well, then its just assembly and wiring
