Pickup went off to the body man last Sunday, but I still have the rear fenders to metalwork.

And today the engine and some associated parts finally got color. 327 with double hump heads, 2.02/1.60's, double roller, mild over stock cam. Carbs are at the platers getting some flash.

KJSR, how or what did you do to lower your truck? What size rims and tires are you running on the rear? As I've asked tb33anda3rd, I'm going to ask Sid to drop my front axle 3". Have stock rear springs with 2" lowering blocks, 16" rims with 235's and am curious if the rake will be too much. I'm comfortable with 1"-2" of overall drop front to rear, but really don't want to go more than that. What are your thoughts?

  4. are you going to run a front bumper? it might look lower from the front if you do.

No intention of running a bumper. The lowered look I'm gong for is really from the side. Not so much the front.

My truck has a Mustang II front suspension, rear suspension from a Nova as well as the 10 bolt. The rear is not notched and has about 4" travel. The rear tires are 235/75-15 and the fronts are 165SR15.
