Projects 1934 Ford 5W Build ~The Apple City Coupe~

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by J.Wike, Sep 1, 2012.

  1. Kirker hot rod black in satin finish is my next choice.....prob 16" 40 ford wheels, 40 standard hubcaps n trim rings, mohair original interior with original gauges and dash, either 34 steering wheel or a 37 banjo. Timeless look, never go out of style

You could go with a flattening agent in the clear and achieve the correct sheen your looking for! The car looks insanely awesome!

  9. RK: I have chopped three '34 Ford's. One of my own and two for friends. I like your way a lot better!! I love having the original soft top opening and the way you did the sail panel and quarter window. Looks great! Tim

Great photo's of the chop technique. Pictures do, indeed speak a thousand words.

  13. Nice Chop! I've done a few cars over the years, but I must admit your process is very nice.

Love the chop. Tried Hot Rod black on my '56 truck that didn't look right so used a flattener in the clear & it turned out perfect. A little dirty.

Nice shape to that quarter window. It looks natural. Not squished.
