We had a great time and we both went red in the second round as I wasted a 10.85 on my 10.84 dail. My brothers 64 ran a best of 10.10. These pics are a time run when we raced each other so we could get some pics of both cars together. I raced as always through the full exh and on pump. Ron

Reminds me of my 62 and how the 1st time I saw one in 74, I was smitten. It was shocking that the car was n't that old and I'd never seen one. I bought a 4 door car that was a navy security car, and a week later the drunk that said he would help me get it running pushed it down a ravine with a bulldozer. A few years later a 2 dr hardtop coming thru town ate a rod bearing. The garage that had it traded it to a friend of mine for a 1970 El Camino SS. The hastily patched up wide 318 threw a rodout next time and I traded him a set of slicks for it. It now has a 383 HP out of a 64 and a pushbutton. Now tell me the interesting story of yours.

This video is from when I went to the track a few weeks ago and ran in the NSS class. Had a great time as I went red in the second round and wasted a 10.85 on my 10.84 dail. I believe I was the only street car running the class and the only car in the class running a full exh system and had a working radio with the antenna ! LoL. This is a time run as I ran 10.85 on this pass. Ron

On your Coronet 440 hard top, how did you achive the stance/ride height as pictured? Did you move your rear springs inboard? Sweet Mopar, I love the stance, this is what I'm going for on my 65 Coronet 500.

WOW< Still enjoy this thread a bunch.
I tend to dabble in the cars,,only slightly smaller scale. A lot easier to take care of that way. Not to mention cheaper.

Answer to post 1282. Hope these help. I used '64 Chrysler buttons because they light-up. Used a '63 Dodge park lever and shortened it. The tower is made out of 3/16 aluminum plate. Over kill I know. But it's what the scrap yard had at the time. The top plate is a piece of old road sign that polished-up pretty good. Gene. 001.JPG 003.JPG

Trying to find out any history on this car. It originally was the Flying Dutchman car. It used to run at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, WI.

Couple pictures from last summer. Still looking for some history on this car if anybody has any. Leads would be great, too. The car was called "HOSS" and raced in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area.
