Since I was a little kid and my dad and I watched American graffiti I've always dreamed of having a 32 5 window. Well yesterday my dream came true. The car is an original steel body chopped and channeled. Some work is in store for me to get it where I want it . Needs glass, windshield frame, interior, wiring, etc. but I'm stoked and on cloud nine.
Oh yeah, that'll rattle the neighbors windows. I really like the color. That'll get you enough tickets to wall paper the shitter btw - the phrase "what seems to be the problem officer" while laughing or wearing a big dumb grin is not as effective as you would think
Oh hell yea, you should be on cloud nine with a harem of winged harpists. Nice looking little 5 window.
I'm really dig'n that coupe man, very slick! Congrats on the new hotrod!! I'd be damn excited myself if i had just picked something like that up....mine always look like something from a scrapyard when i get them! Tony
I like it, I'd like it even more without the whitewalls. Black walled tires always make a hot rod look meaner. White walls are for cream puff custom cruisers and restorations.
Congratulations. I agree on the color being killer. So what's the backstory? Unfinished project that someone else lost steam on or ???? Let's hear the details whitewalls look good but blackwalls would be awesome. But who cares what I think. Enjoy.
Wow! Nice 32. My first 32 was a chopped and channeled five window. Good luck and get that sucker on the road.
So the backstory of the car is that it was built a few years ago. The owner at that time had a an accident at work. During that industrial accident car got slightly damaged. Not wanting to repair it sold it to the fellow I bought it from. He started to repair but lost steam. I happened to be at the right place at the right time. My initial plan for the car is to first get a grill shell and get it mocked up and ready for paint. Then I'm gonna disassemble and send frame, nine inch and a few other items out for powder coat. When body off I'm gonna put new floors in it and spray lizard skin sound deadener/heat insulator inside. Once chassis is ready start rewiring car and redo brakes etc. like I said I need to get windshield frame and glass too. So, I got my work cut out for me but in the end it will b worth it and done right (the way I like it and want it)
Yes it does have 3 pedals!!! currently it has a 283 with 3 deuces and a munci in it. I'm currently building a 355. For surely gonna keep 3 deuces. The whitewalls r brand new so will prob keep them until I need new tires. Then at that time decide if I'm gonna stick with the whites or switch it up
