This is how mine is sitting right now. Lots of sheet metal work to do now. I plan on getting all the metal work done, then drive it around for a little in bare metal in case I run into any issues or there is anything I decide to change, while I save up for some paint. I thought about starting a build thread for it, but I don't know.
Start a thread. I'm sure people will love seeing the progress. I know I will follow for Sure Motivation !!! Colin Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Only thing I can tell you about it as I saw it driving down 20th St. in Joplin Missouri last year. The guy driving was younger than me, maybe early 30s? That's all I got.
Gleid, do a google search for Knuckle Draggers in Springfield Mo and you will get some info on the club. Might help. I know the car was built in the Springfield area. That's where I live. Later, Dick

I maintain 2 '54's for a close friend. He lets me drive/exercise them anytime I want. Drove "Blacky" over to Zephyrhills for Easter dinner, at Aunt n Uncles. My uncle Jerry, is 86 yrs young. Still an ornery sum-bitch. One of the founding members of North Florida Roadster Club 1951. JT
This fine Stovebolt, belongs to another close friend. Jimmy has taken this from crappy 1980's street rod, to gorgeous 60's Kustom. Dynamite workmanship, by everyone involved, in this project. (yours truly did the 5 speed and '57 rear end swap)
Heinz51, that is virtually identical to "Bernice". Color is Horizon Blue. My Customer's Grandma (Bernice), bought her brandy new, up in small town South Carolina. At the time I brought her back to life, she hadn't been driven since 1986. No surprise, she purrs like a kitten. (both do!) My local paint store mixed me up the factory color, in a 2 part rattle can. I shot the wheels, now I am in love with that color. Yes, the radial tires suck. Owner's choice for right now. Had seat covers since almost new, so original upholstry is still there, although a bit stained from 60yrs of being covered.
