I Saw it at the Detroit show and the car looks amazing.

 

Amazing build and thought process,all the little details add up to a car that raises the bar for all to follow! HRP

 

Slight change of plans has me home early and so here are some shots. I will create a new thread with shots of the other As on display at the awesome Ross Racing Engines display.

The car was well received and I was truly surprised at just how many commented on how much they liked the color.

Looking forward to Austin now...

 

Well, well...just got news. Placed 3rd in class, which I think from memory was modified 28-31.

Thanks guys, well this pretty much closes off the build thread. It has been a wild ride this past year, from trying to sell the body, to a complete U turn and culminating in a solid build which saw an amazing reception in Detroit.

Thanks for all the feedback/comments. I hope to see many of you at events throughout the coming year.

 

When I started reading this thread, I had no idea it was this car you were describing. It was one of my favorites in Detroit and it was doubly nice of you to give my buddy and I a personal tour of this fine car. Congratulations on the win Paul. It was nice chatting with you in Detroit. Happy motoring to Texas!

 

Glad you enjoyed the car and was happy to show it. Yes, hoping to make it down to Austin, work permitting. Was supposed to be abroad this week but had to cancel at the last minute. Hoping Austin wont be a repeat...

 

Hard for me to believe that there were two cars nicer than that in Detroit.
