Hotrodprimer the body is going a dark green along with the frame and the suspension and motor are black.

Did some wet sanding today and got the motor and trans bolted in to the frame. Put the rear together and got some other parts prepped and Clark was spraying black on them as I was leaving for the day. Can't wait to get back to it on Monday.

Was able to get a lot of small details finished up and got the truck out of juniors shop and loaded up to head to the upholstery shop. Can't wait to see it with a seat in it. Had to order a new wooden wheel for the fat man steering wheel which should be in tomorrow. It will get stained to match the wood inside the bed floor.

Here's a shot of some of the wood insert for the bed. The recessed area is where the gas tank will sit. The wood came out of my living room floor from my farm house. The house was built in the 1700's. It's pine and has a real tight grain and had to be well over 150 years old judging by the grain.

Got the fatman steering wheel painted and sourced a mahogany wood ring I stained to match the bed floor. Makes getting in and out a lot easier and looks killer.

Here's a shot of the wheel flipped out of the way. It rests nicely against the windshield.

My upholstery guy had the idea to use raw leather on the floor instead of carpet. Died brown and then died black over the brown with some spots a little lighter to look like it's already been worn in.

Rest of the bed floor is in. It's hinged to allow access to the battery and a small storage compartment.

Well detroit's in a couple days and all the final details have been finished. Back to bad donkee in the morning to get loaded up and head out for the autorama. Can't believe how great it turned out. Big thanks to Clark and junior for helping create the vision in my head as well as bobby for doing a great job on the interior.
