On a 47 chevy stylemaster town sedan is there a hubcap that will work besides running moon style caps.
Do you have the factory wheels with the clips?, are you wanting to run full wheel covers, or another type of dog dish cap?
Get 6 lug 15'' wheels from around 1967 0r '68. They have outside stamped lugs. They'll take a 10 1/8" cap from any car using that size cap, or any 15'' wheel cover except Cadillac.
Any idea what caps you're wanting to run? My extra wheels are froze to the ground right now, and I don't really want to scratch the ones on my car since I'm running factory caps.
Something that will fit due to the hub, I was looking at fiesta caps but they will not work due to the hub size
I would think something like the a 54 studebaker cap would fit, I tried an oldsmobile cap, and it did want to grab the rim but the dish of the wheel was in the way.
Are your wheels 5 lug or are they 6 lug? On my '50 chevy car with stock wheels (5 lug) I could run '56 olds. fiesta hubcaps with out any problems at all. Also could run 15" dodge '57 after market style hubcaps. Also '59 dodge (crab style) 4-bar spinners will fit. If your car has 5 lug wheels the hub should be the same size as my '50 chevy.
Late 60s Buick caps will clear the hub. I was running a set of 67 Riviera caps before I made a set to fit.
