After 30 years of false starts scaling photos and guessing, I broke down and bought the tooling for full size P-38 Drop Tanks. This allowed me to get proper dimensions to tool up for a 1/8 scale Tank. Now, I can also produce full size Tanks but that's another story. Anyway, It is vac formed in .060" styrene. Using suspension bits and the Flathead from the Revell kit things get interesting. Wayno

Elmo, are those belly tanks going to be for sale by chance? Those weathered cars are cool.

Just getting back into modeling after 35 years.
I bought a Testors Acrylic Paint kit. Will that work well with a brush for small parts or should I use Testors Enamel?

Enamel werks better for me. The acrylic has some good uses too. Background detailing i.e. low areas that won't see much contact. My 2ct.
