I did what you guys said - I started with the best car I could afford (August 2013). After some minor modifications, it will be done this spring.

There's nothing cooler then seeing a forgotten ride being brought back to life. Good work guy you've done good!!!!!

When I got it and still in progress.......

 

Started project in 1962---6 years later--First finished 1968.
My avatar today.-----300,000 miles later.

 

1994 after getting it home from Kansas

 

My speed and skills aren't up to many of the folks that post on here, I am just glad I kept at it, the first two pictures were in the mid 70's, when I was a young buck with few skills and a simple dream. The hair is gray now, and the little boy in the third picture is now 35 years old and helped sand the car both before it was painted and then after (until I caught him). The paint (what's left of it) is still on the car, and looks much the same although there have been chassis changes. It's been in my possession for about 40 years even though I wanted an old Ford at the time

I started with a body skin and a new wood kit:










Three years ago when it was on the road it looked like this:




And now it's all apart again getting a hemi, shiny paint and upholstery.



And finished.
