    So I have sold my 331 and supercharger to buy this...1969 428 cobra jet..real deal..looks like the 5 speed is going away for a built c-6 with a brake...should be a real wheel stander..
    Plans for this motor include a set of aluminum edelbrock heads and a bigger bump stick..maybe 2 fours..[​IMG] [​IMG]

    Bingo. Perfect Engine choice. Nothing like a big snarling FE to get a small compact car moving quickly.

    Rooster;your crossmember is upside down,the "DIP" should be on the bottom!!Will the driveshaft clear with it "UP"? ROY.

    Roy its in right....upside down works great for a higher car...lol...you made me laugh..

    Very neat bends on your 2X3 tubing, Rooster. Are those Alston or were you able to mandrel-shape them?
    Kudos on your FE choice, BTW...I'm building a 406 as we speak.

    Mike the rails I bought at Applied racing technology....they sure are nice
    ...next up is the wish bone and a anti roll bar...shock mounts

    Roy ride height should be 11.5 inches in the front and 10 in the rear from the pinch weld to ground..
