In a new exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum, the engines are the stars of the show. Hoods are thrown open and we get to see the engines of many of the prized cars in the collection -- a rare treat. Exactly right. It's awesome to consider that this car was competitive for nearly 10 years with three different engine combinations: Cadillac OHV V8, small-block-Chevy, and SOHC Ford.
And then he switched to a twin turbo'd Shotgun Mustang - effectively obsoleting every other AA/GS in existence - much to the dismay of many traditionalists.
Oh yeah, the famed Dick Smith Deuce roadster. In all the years I've been drooling over the car, this was the first time I've seen it with the hood open.
