  9. How about those great B/C Modified Roadsters(2839417) the black one known as the"Pussy Cat" was owned by Dave Webber from Ohio, watched him run at Dragway 42 many times!
He won at the US Nationals in the mid 60s, and owned webber machine and engine in Lorain, Ohio. The family was still in business and racing a Comp. dragster until a couple of years ago when the business closed. Really great guys to know.

If this thread doesn't explain why we loved (love) drag racing, nothing ever will!

This car (in post #40377) is the former Jungle Jim Leiberman Nova that won the Funny Car Crown at the 1969 NHRA Winternationals with Clare Sanders at the wheel. Gene Altizer bought it in late 1969 and ran it for several years in an East Coast Unblown Fuel Funny Car Circuit. It has been restored to Jungle Jim era and is in a museum in Oregon along with the matching Nova that Jungle drove that year.

Anybody got info on this Willys. I met a guy who was driving it as a street rod at the NSRA streetrod nats in Timonium around 72/73 his name was Lance and I bought the "Ohio George" steel front fenders from him.

Ran across this Video from Atco. I don't recall seeing it on here, but thought it should be.
