Hi everyone. My name is Crash. I've always loved customizing and modifying vehicles, but never done a car. I recently bought my first classic, and I chose a 1951 Mercury four door. It is set to arrive this weekend. I'm very excited about this build. I will start a thread and post lots of photos once it arrives.
It's my understanding that a shoebox is a 2 door ford body style. While I appreciate the compliment, this is a 4 door Mercury.
Yes, East Texas is here,,,and I hesitate to tell you, your Merc is a "Special Intrest" car,not a "Classic"
It's fine. Tell me what you like. I enjoy learning. Being in Texas, you are aware that TX categorizes classics as being over 25 years old with a load rating under 10000lbs. What is a "Special Interest" car, and how does it differ from a "Classic"? Can you please give me examples of both? Thank you.
Next time you jump on threads to correct people who need not be corrected, make sure you know a little about what you are saying. A quick look would have told you that my vehicle is specifically NOT a special interest car, and is not eligible to be classified as such.
