Well its not my usual style of project but im helping out a good friend . This will be slow as he can only come down to work weekends . We started last weekend with a giant pile of parts from Brookville .

In no way do these things go together easy . lots of mock up and measuring .

    fit to ford specs ...

lots going on here . will all be riveted in the end

that is a great start. nice to see mint repro panels, not rusted up to the door handles!

  4. That would be fun to start a project with new sheet metal for a change.

Yeah, Flop, I`ve been there with the Brookville panels. I remember having to `adjust` the cowl /tank to cowl side fit with hammer and dolly to make it really nice. Then a trim before the stock clamp/bolts go on.....Overall, thogh, pretty good stuff. I`ll be interested to see what you think of the doors if he has repro ones. Very soft steel, the ones I remember using...

had to modify the brookville brace from A pillar to subframe to actually fit over the body mount holes like ford did

equidistant inner door gaps and the quarter brace put in in this picture .

all and all pretty pleased so far with the way its turning out

We got the passenger side together and discovered the body line is a 1/4" smaller on the quarter than the door. Cut and add is the fix....

Looks great! Are you doing the stock style floor and seat riser? If so I am anxiously awaiting pictures so I can figure out how all these floor pieces are supposed to fit back in my car.

FB_IMG_1427747386835_1.jpg flop made these little covers for the stanchons . I'm not running a windshield and will most likely have a tonneau cover on most of time. These will be able to come off and I'll be able to put a windshield on if I want
