been tinkering on the truck abit and got a few things done. redid the cab mounts and raised it up an inch and will be up another 1/2 inch when I get new bushings. with the front mounts, once I get the cab off I will close in the sides of the frame bracket and then drill down thu the frame and run a tube down inside for better holding. played with the gauges and put chevy van gauges in the stock ford panel also running a chevy wire harmess as I know its good and very simple. now for the engine I bolted in a 240 inline 6 with the use of a 300ci oil pan and sump and reworking the stock chevy frame brackets to get the motor down as low as possible. thinking about stick trans but since its most just gonna be a cruiser and some light hauling I may go with a C6. I hitting the yard tomorrow to snag a power brake booster off a 66 F350 so I can start working on the brakes and also get a bell housing and starter bolted so I can start checking thing with the wiring to make sure its getting power to it everything

been tinkering abit on the truck here and there. picked up a brake booster of a 66 F350, but had to make a new mounting bracket for it. cut up the floor hump and hammered out and welded up some pieces so I have engine clearance, also cut in and made a removable plate to get to the last spark plug with having to remove the whole hump. still need to get the proper master cylinder and proportioning valve and then start on new brake lines. at this point just working on getting everything mocked up and in place before I tear it down for final welding, clean up and abit of paint

My '62 unibody. Don't think it's on this thread, yet. Has the Industrial Chassis Dakota kit on the front, 4 bar rear, 410" FE wth '61 HiPo heads with bigger 427 exhaust valves and a bit of port work, a factory '63 dual quad intake. Will get the big window cab section put in. Ididit tilt/shift column, Scat bucket seats, moved the custom gas tank to the front of the box. Should be out in the garage working on it right now! Spark
