buick guys

I keep seeing Buick 264 and 322 parts for sale as interchangeable, ie intakes and flywheels, Is this true? I have been looking for a flywheel and was told they not not interchange. Whats up?Thanks

 

they basically the same 'looking' engine but some parts interchange, some dont. I,m not an expert on these, you also might find something by searching under 'Buick' on this site or others, have you checked 'Team Buick' they have lotta Buick info.

The flywheel/flex plate will not interchange.
Intake manifold will.
Harmonic balancer/front pulley will not.
