Nope! John Deere. Probably a GP, but could be a D, or even an unstyled AR.

Take away the movie and TV influence on rods over the years and you might be surprised by what you lose

 

The tractor Oliver drove during the opening credits was a John Deere GP. If you remember the John Deere speedster I posted photos of a while back, that's what the radiator came off of. The tractor in the show that they were always working on was a Fordson, but they called it a Hoyt-Clagwell. Probably didn't want to offend FOMOCO who was probably a major sponsor. Hank Kimball drove a Bronco and Oliver a big Lincoln.

 

As a younger man I went over to Carlisle and somehow met Jerry and he very kindly let me see the car and sit in it. Real nice guy.

Much better without the bogus headers, the natural finish on the heads in lieu of red paint. Like a car someone built at home prior to the Hollywood bullshittery.

I caught that episode the other night on ME TV.
I didn’t know that it was ever on Green Acres

 

It sure does, but looking at the distance between the Pittman arm and front radius rod pivot, I say that thing had to have a bad case of bump steer. Cool nonetheless!

Never liked it as a hot rod, but it sure promoted hot rods well on the TV to the broader audience.
