I'm so sorry for loss my prayers go to you and your family.
Great tribute to your Dad I'm sure he will always be there for you.
A year or so ago I bought a Holley carb from you. When it was dropped off on my porch it had a broken base plate. I text you and sent a picture you said no problem. I'm out of town but call my Dad a this number he will take care of it for you.
I talked to him on the phone and new he was a stand up guy, money was refunded return shipping was paid.
I'm sure your Dad has a million story's as mine in his past.
In today's world men like your Dad are few.
I'm sure your family is proud to call him Dad. Ron

  10. Tim, that was nicely written about your father. He and I graduated a year apart and shared those tumultuous 60's times.
Very sad to hear of your loss. He raised his family the right way.
He was an inspirational teacher to the family.

    Sorry for your loss.

  12. Sadly, it's inevitable that we must endure the pain & sorrow of the loss of our parents and other loved ones.

The values your dad instilled in you are apparent with the information you shared with us.

Stay strong and remember all the good days, you and your family are in my prayers. HRP

Sounds like you were blessed with a great father. Very sorry for your family's loss. I lost mine (a great one also) back in 1983...still miss him every day. Time heals, may his words and memories comfort you ; stay strong. God bless you.

BC; Durn man, about your Dad, it's a terrible loss. His work and his family encourage each of us to do what we can. I lost mine when he was far too young. We're all here bud!

Sorry for your loss. But I'm glad you (and I ) have parents we can call our heroes.

  18. Tim;Sorry to hear of your dad's passing. That was a great tribute to him.I was looking at the pictures you posted and he does look familiar.I'm sure I ran into him at one time or another.Didn't realize he was originally from Medford. Have quite a few friends from there.
Getting to the point in life where too many friends are showing up on the obit page. One thing that cannot be taken away is the memories;those will be with us until we pass on.

Again, Tim, I'm so sorry. I don't know what I can do to help but my garage is open and the beer store is down the street if you need some time away from things.

I know how you feel, but, I feel lucky I had him at all. I know some kids/guys who lost their Dads so young they have no memory, or some whose Dads never had anything to do with them. Hopefully this makes it a little easier.

So sorry---lost my Dad back in '88 and my younger brother last September 16th. If I may offer you some advice, think of him often. When my kid brother was alive we talked by phone almost every day. And we usually talked about "the ol' man". All great memories. Now that Bubba is gone I think about them both---almost every day. It helps. I pray the Lord provides you strength.
