  3. Next up is a HAMB unfriendly 1987 Buick Grand National. It was stolen and trashed but it runs and only has 103 KM on it. I'm going to give it to my kid for a first car.Buying price? I only paid $500.00 for it.

  12. I think that a may avoid tackling that one. When I was a kid we were playing touch football in the street and one of the kids ran into a parked Corvair, broke his nose. That Nomad is exponentially more substantial than the old 'vair. :D

Like someone mentioned above, I thought I was the only crazy one for having too many projects. At times I feel overwhelmed and think I need to thin the herd. I am currently working on my 1950 Chevy truck with a jag suspension. Not sure what the next project will be, either my numbers matching 409 400hp 64 impala or my 66 Nova SS.

I don't know if your trying to make me ashamed of being a hoarder or proud to be an astute collector. I've got cars I bought in 1969 & 71,(still projects), plus 45 more years of collecting. I have thinned the herd a bit, realizing I can't possibly do them all. Sold a '60 El Camino, 67 SWB Chev, '61 Burb & a 1950 Flxible(still waiting for it to be moved)& my '57 Gruman curbsider camper. I have a few more not very high on my need to do list, '53 Merc HT, '61 GMC Burb, '66 Cutlass,'41 Ford COE fire truck, maybe the '51 Ford panel or the collection of Crosley stuff. My priority list: '57 Nomad,'57 Chev 2dr post (maybe not so much), '29 RPU, '32 Ford tudor, fordor,3W and parts for a cabriolet. Some I don't think about often: '40Graham, '29 RDSTR(glass), '40UL,'46 Servicar, '38 Ford 2dr, some OT stuff, 8N Ford, John Deere MC, Cat 2D, a half dozen other motorcycles including a 500 Triumph single and some Yamaha dirt bikes. Some OT parts cars I saved for their running gear, '84 Vette & '80 Impala cop car. Oh, and my '48 Pickup I threw together in 1981 & drove for 20 years(100000mi)in 22 western states, always primered refugee from a wrecking yard. My friends said I had a Rat Rod before they were popular. There's always a few others that need attention, my mother in laws Riviera needs the blower rebuilt again. Third time in 200,000 mi. Thank god my daughter just sold her '95 BMW that didn't run, the Germans really didn't have their electrical shit together. Well I've bored you enough & now you think I'm nuts, my wife agrees with you.....................Red

Once the car right there <-- runs/drives/stops (hopefully May/June), I can finally get started on my '28 RPU. Finally being able to work on the ol' Poncho on a regular basis is sure nice. Between a move, kitchen reno and the ensuing near divorce, garage reno and furnace install, basement makeover, painting the hall...blah blah, it took a while to get back on it. Also have an ongoing project/summer daily driver '63 Dart wagon.

I have a '57 IHC A110 in the garage, mostly in pieces that has a cracked frame needing welding and brakes needing rebuilding -fronts mostly done, back ones haven't looked at. Then there is the wiring and brake lines, gas tank, gas lines, interior.... It has been mostly sitting for months as work keeps me too busy to do much. Does that count as waiting in the wings?

you guys are slacking off (or just smarter than me)
    currently getting some love:
'63 BelAir wagon - air ride, 230 w/ dual carbs & exhaust, '65 Caddy caps.
soon to get new king pin bushings:
'39 Standard Tudor - built flattie, duals (no mufflers), painted by me 30 years ago.
still driving & not ready to tear apart yet:
    '49 Merc, stock 6V flatty w/ 3 speed OD, T-Bird seats
    needing nothing & enjoying:
    '67 Triumph bobber
    waiting impatiently:
    chopped '36/'37 Chev P/U, 327 w/ 4 97s, Chevelle rear, '63 Tempest front
'40 Ford DeLuxe coupe, M2 front, 'Vette rear, 9C1 eng/trans
    '41 Chev 2 dr sedan
'47 Buick sedanette, 500 Caddy mill, Nova stub, Monte rear
    '47 Dodge coupe - rough
'48 Plymouth coupe - not so rough
'49 Ford F5 cab, '51 car rear, '39 front, flathead, planning to chop it
OTs: '70 Impala conv., finish chopping '77 Impala custom
and a couple of cars I need to grab some parts off, before sending them on to their next destination. should have this list done by, oh maybe...never

  23. My next project certainly pales in comparison to what most of you guys have in line! It's an ECO pedestal-mount Tireflator that will get new paint and the parts rechromed before being placed in front of the garage near the gas pump.

Got a '54 FordClub Coupe and a '41 Ford pick up that I have been pecking away at lately. The '47 in the avitar is a driver but needs a new top and some work on the top hydraulics.

    I have a few....
Gas station restore, long running ( my avitar).
71 Banner tandem axle travel trailer, almost complete ( should have never started camping in it).
O.T. 71 camaro close, in primer (355+125 NOS)
41 ford long door coupe (rusted, crusted, but I ain't scared).

The 41 is under the canopy at my station. A lot of of people don't want me to touch it. They think its just cool yard art.
